The ‘Fumetti Gustosi’ (Savoury Comics) come to life with the Restaurateurs Group of the March of Treviso and Treviso Comic Book Festival
The tip of the laser is the symbol of the new project ‘La Cucina delle Idee’ (The Kitchen of Ideas) that F.lli Perin wanted to launch as a symbol of new frontiers that still have to be tasted!
You are probably wondering, what has a technological equipment such as a laser got to do with taste and food culture? It’s easy to see if we think that it’s precisely with laser and steel that the first gastronomic comic of the series ‘Fumetti Gustosi’ will be created, born of the new collaboration of F.lli Perin with the Restaurateurs Group of the March of Treviso and Treviso Comic Book Festival.
A storytelling created by five internationally renowned comic artists that explored for three days the March of Treviso, discovering all the wonders of its history, culture, taste, and… innovation!
And F.lli Perin of San Vendemiano, historical company in the panorama of the blazoned ‘Inox Valley Trevigiana’, the heart of the international production of equipment for quality Horeca, wanted to give its important contribution involving its department of ‘Technological Research & Design’.
F.lli Perin, a leading company in the Stainless Steel processing with laser technologies, has joined with enthusiasm the art project conceived by the organizers where all the drawings made by the artists, among which we mention Dave McKean and John Holmstrom, true giants of punk culture and Dark Graphic Novels, and the younger Rufus Dayglo, Claire Adams, Clare McKean, Diana Naneva, and Anna Haifisch, will become a multi-material work of art where lasers, materials, and the know-how of F.lli Perin will be an integral part of the artistic and technological process.
In preview, the first tests for the transfer of the drawings with laser technology: in the photos of the sequence, the great lion of San Marco drawn by Rufus Dayglo captured in its transition from paper to stainless steel.
The great final artwork will be presented to the public in an international event that will bring together the creative and productive team as well as the partners and Treviso’s institutions, starting from the Restaurateurs Group of the March of Treviso, the City of Treviso, and Treviso Glocal, Company of the CCIAA of Treviso for the development of internationalization, which enthusiastically support these original 2.0 dynamics related to food culture. Stay Tuned!
